Witches, robbers and knights, ‘the miracle of Amsterdam‘, the nymphs of the river the Amstel, the Robin Hood of the city.... During this walking tour you will hear about these exciting stories and you will walk on those streets that have a story to tell. For instance there is the ‘Ossenspooksteeg‘. According to ancient stories in the 19th century a ghost was occupying this alley and scared the living daylights out of the sailors that set foot there.
Even now this spot still seems somewhat ‘spooky‘, because according to the manager of the nearest hotel their elevator doors and room doors open now and again spontaneously...
Start and finish points Most tours start near the Central Station or the Dam, because these points are easily accessible and close to many great attractions. Would you like us to organise the rest of your program? We will ensure that all the different parts of the program come together nicely. For example your guides can pick you up from the workshop and drop you off at the restaurant after the tour. Handy, don‘t you think?
