Discover the fascinating architectonic beauty of the Java-Island and the KNSM-Island in the Eastern Docks-district. In the past it used to be home to several large shipping companies, but since 1990 these islands have been transformed into beautiful and special residential areas. You will be picked up by our professional guide at the back of the central station, where you will take a ferry over the IJ.
When you reach the islands, you will see several beautiful areas such as the inner gardens, the so called 'dwars grachten' and several bridges and special buildings e.g. Loods 6, Barcelona and Piraeus. You will have an opportunity to drink something underway. If you like the guide will take you back to the Central Station at the end of the tour.
Start and finish points Most tours start near the Central Station or the Dam, because these points are easily accessible and close to many great attractions. Would you like us to organise the rest of your program? We will ensure that all the different parts of the program come together nicely. For example your guides can pick you up from the workshop and drop you off at the restaurant after the tour. Handy, don‘t you think?
